Standard Braille printing does not have to be a frustrating and complex process. With artisJet digital inkjet printers, with just a few clicks you can obtain ADA-compliant Braille printing on an unlimited variety of materials.
The technology
Dedicated Braille mode — Simplified one-click operation
To print standard ADA Braille, simply select the built-in Braille mode. All dot shape and size settings are pre-programmed to strictly follow official standards. If a normal embossed effect is also required, three thickness presets are available.
Continuous printing — Minimising labour costs
artisJet Workstation can combine multiple tasks for the same job: (1) colour printing, (2) embossed effect and (3) Braille, configured to proceed automatically one after another without the need for manual operation between them.
Single-pass printing — Fewer tasks, less time
artisJet printers apply Braille printing in a single pass, eliminating the time wasted caused by multi-stage processes.
The results
Smooth and elegant — dome-shaped Braille dots, with no rough edges.
Compliant — available in transparent varnish or solid white ink. White dots can be covered with colour ink.
Durable — Braille dots and other embossed effects produced by artisJet are capable of withstanding intensive use thanks to the high scratch resistance of UV printing technology.
