Upgraded printing system — Better user experience

Technological innovation and system updates are the core of how artisJet meets and exceeds customer expectations. Based on user feedback, artisJet has identified two key areas for improvement: ink system durability and software user experience.

Part 1 — The new dual pump system

More precise, more consistent, more durable, cleaner and less maintenance

• Smart pump — feeds ink by externally compressing the tube in tiny, precise increments. Ensures a constant and precise flow at all times.
• High consistency — constant ink flow without the fluctuating pulses of the previous suction pump.
• High precision and reliability — cleaning and maintenance results are consistent.
• Greater durability — the new smart pump has no direct contact with the ink, eliminating any adverse effect on the pump system.
• Dedicated cleaning pump — drains the ink waste tank to keep the inside and outside of the printers clean and tidy.

Part 2 — Software improvements

• Smart carriage (beta) — if only a small area needs to be printed, the printhead can be directed to cover only that area, saving time.
• Smart UV lamp energy saving — the UV lamp can be programmed to switch on only over the printed area and switch off automatically where no ink is applied.
• API (hot folder) — via a hot folder, print jobs are created as easily as drag and drop. Desired settings can be programmed for each folder.
• More user-friendly USB key — a pop-up window appears if the key is not connected. The RIP software starts automatically when it is detected.

Part 3 — Other improvements

• New ink tube — manufactured by Saint-Gobain, to the highest industrial standard in corrosion resistance.
• New industrial guides for artis 3000U Pro — more precise platform movements and mechanical elements requiring less maintenance.
